Thespian Society and Booster Club
West Theatre has always received strong support from our members in the International Thespian Society and our Booster Club. These two groups form the core of our performers and technicians, as well as our support network. Get involved with one of these great groups to help support the Arts at West High!
Thespian Society
West High has been a member of the International Thespian Society since 1946! We are the oldest Thespian Society in the state of Alaska. Troupe #700 prides itself on its long lived traditions and its committment to excellence in theatre. Friends of West Anchorage H.S. Theatre
West is fortunate to have an exceptional Booster Club formed of parents, former students and community members who see West Theatre as a valuable activity for young people. This group has over 200 members from all over the world! Support comes in a variety of ways, from donations, help with construction and providing food for the cast, to chaperoning students on tour and just sending letters of support. We could not function without support from our Friends! A Facebook group located at Friends of West Anchorage H.S. Theatre Group gives students the opportunity to communicate with these angels of the West High Theatre.
