Scared Scriptless is a comedy improv troupe (ir)regularly performing in Anchorage Alaska since August 2000. Performs the second Saturday of every month at Cyrano's Playhouse.

Anchorage Concert Association
The Anchorage Concert Association, a non-profit corporation, was founded in 1950 by a group of classical music enthusiasts committed to bringing the finest classical performing artists of the day to perform for the people of Anchorage. Today, our purpose includes the presentation of internationally acclaimed artists from the entire spectrum of the performing arts to Alaska for public performances and education activities that entertain, uplift, educate and inspire audiences, students and local artists.

TBA Theatre
TBA enriches our community by providing innovative and comprehensive theatre arts experiences through which artists of all ages can develop their creativity and self-expression; and in so doing stimulates human potential. Award winning artists and educators provide theatrical experiences and training for young and old.
Alaska Dance Theatre
Alaska Dance Theatre offers professional education to the whole dancer. For 20 years, Alice Bassler Sullivan's artistic direction has provided stability in all facets of the Company. Sullivan has established a school firmly grounded in classical ballet, also offering classes in Pre-ballet, Pointe, Jazz, and company repertory. Additional classes in Creative Dance are specially designed for all people, regardless of dance experience or ability.
Alaska Junior Theatre
Alaska Junior Theater presents live, professional theater for young audiences across the state of Alaska. AJT has delighted students over the last 20 years with shows of music, mime, marionettes, plays and other live performances. Our rural outreach program has also taken shows to communities around the state, including Barrow, Bethel, Nome, Kotzebue, Atqasuk and Kenai, and additional students from Talkeetna to Valdez have participated in performance workshops presented by our visiting artists.
Anchorage Community Theatre
Anchorage Community Theatre is a non-profit community theatre dedicated to the mission of bringing quality, family entertainment to the community of Anchorage. We are not only Anchorage's senior theatre company, but also provide opportunities for children and adults through our programs: the main stage ACT productions, and our Theatre School.
Anchorage Opera
Incorporated in 1962, Anchorage Opera has evolved from an all-volunteer community organization to its present status as Alaska's only professional opera company.
Anchorage Opera produces three operas each year in the Discovery Theatre of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. Here, an audience of 10,000 has the opportunity to hear the world's greatest operas, performed by world-class guest singers in collaboration with Alaska's talented performers, orchestra, designers, and craftspeople. The company also produces the “Dark Night Recital Series”, designed to showcase the talents of local musician artists.
Alaska Theatre of Youth
Developing the human potential in young people through performing arts training and performance, and exposing our community to the finest in theatre for young people is ATY's mission. Youth oriented theatre since 1983.
Cyrano's Off-Center Playhouse
Eccentric Theatre Company (ETC) is the resident company at Cyrano's Off Center Playhouse in Anchorage, Alaska. It was formed in 1995 by a loose-knit group of volunteers committed to producing professional quality dramatic works utilizing Alaskan talent.
This nurturing of regional talent is one of our most important goals. We've employed actors and technicians from Juneau to Fairbanks, and have made extensive use of UAA Theatre Department graduates. In this respect, we have been a bridge or transition point from academic theatre to professional careers.
Last Frontier Theatre Conference
Held in Valdez every summer, sponsored by Prince William Sound Community College, this conference brings together some of the finest playwrights in the country to explore new works. Alaska Theatre of Youth staff & students have become regular participants, earning high esteem as readers & event assistants.
Out North Theatre
Out North exists to develop and present bold new work that challenges and changes the art, the artist, and the audience. We encourage artistic risk-taking and collaboration, examining today's world through diverse cultural perspectives, and creating community through the arts.
Perseverance Theatre
Founded in 1979 by Molly Smith in Juneau, Perseverance Theatre is committed to mining Alaska's unique cultural character to produce the finest theatre our state has to offer. The diversity of Alaska is remarkable, with over 55 different languages and dialects, and our goal is to embrace this multiplicity of artists and audiences and explore classic plays and new works through a unique 'Alaskan lens.' We also work with a rising generation of national and international theatre artists of the highest caliver. We believe this kind of cultural diversity spurs us on to the production of our best work. Our values are rooted in community, revelation, and rigor.
UAA Department of Theatre and Dance
The UAA Department of Theatre and Dance offers a well-rounded liberal arts approach in its curriculum, with courses covering all the basic areas of theatrical endeavor, including acting, movement, directing, stagecraft, scene design, lighting, costuming, makeup, dramatic literature, theatre history, dramatic theory and criticism, and playwriting.
Production is at the very center of our award-winning theatre program. Each season UAA theatre produces four plays on its convertible thrust Main Stage, and many one act or full-length plays in the student directed second stage program.
The plays are cast at open auditions and more than 100 majors, non-majors, and members of the community are involved in our season each year.

Alaska Center for the Performing Arts
With three theatres – the Evangeline Atwood Concert Hall with 2100 seats, the Discovery Theatre with 700 seats, and the Sydney Laurence Theatre with 350 seats – and eight resident companies, variety abounds at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts!
Wendy Williamson Auditorium
Seating over 900, the Williamson is a perfect medium sized space for proscenium productions.
