Students earn grades through a variety of activities. These include, but are not limited to, tests, written papers, projects, presentations and class activities. Class participation is also a big part of a student's achievement. My grades are based on the student's attainment of a percentage of total points as follows:
B: 80% - 89%
C: 70% - 79%
D: 60% - 69%
F: below 60%
The single best predictor of grades at the high school level is attendance. Parents, please help your students achieve high marks by making sure they are at school on time each day.
Students can also earn extra points by checking the webpage each week for Extra Credit opportunities! These points are available EVERY WEEK! So a student never has an excuse for not being able to bring up their grade.
