Make Up Work
So... you've missed some assignments? Well, it is up to
YOU to get the make-up work. Make-up work is only allowed for students who have missed work due to an
Excused absence. If your absences are not excused, you are not entitled to make up any work.
Notes
If you missed taking some notes while you were gone, you need to get the missed information from another student in the class. Notes are a very important part of each class, so be sure to get them ASAP.
Assignments
If you missed an assignment, you need to contact Mr. Block on the
FIRST day you return to school. Come in on your own time (Lunch, after school, etc.) to find out what you missed. You will be given 1 day of make-up time for each day of class you missed (up to a 5 day maximum) to complete the work. If you wait until after your first day back, you may not be allowed to make up the assignments.
Tests, Speeches and Performances
If you missed taking a test or giving a speech or performance, you will need to make special arrangements with Mr. Block. Tests, performances and speeches may
ONLY be made up at lunch or after school by appointment. Make your appointment with Mr. Block on the first day you return from your absence or you will not be able to make up this important assignment.
