Grades are based on a 5 point scale. 5-A, 4-B, 3-C, 2-D, 1-F, 0 - Missing.
When and assignment is given, it is always given with requirements. These requirements are the minimum necessary to complete the work. Minimum work will yield a minimum grade: D. If you want higher than that, you need to go above and beyond, showing significant effort.
You alone are responsible for your grade. I do not "give" grades, you EARN them. Start to be concerned about your performance RIGHT NOW! Don't wait until a week before report cards go home.

Remember, participation is a large part of your overall grade. Be actively involved in class to earn the highest level of achievement. Since you must be present and on time to participate, points will be subtracted each time you are tardy. Don't let poor attendance affect your performance in class!
